Flying Scot
Racing is a small company representing the Flying Scot Factory.
Shipping and Handling costs are added to your order to cover the cost of
getting your products to you as quickly as possible. Some items
required special shipping due to size and weight constrains set by the
shipping companies. Most items will be drop shipped from their respective
manufacturer via UPS, but Flying Scot Racing uses the US Postal Service
for most of its packages. We use the USPS to keep cost low for
you.
Our web site calculates shipping and handling based on a percentage
of you total order. This method keeps our site simple and keeps our
cost low, so that we can pass this on to our customers. Sometimes
this method will not calculate the proper shipping and handling amount,
and it might appear to be a high cost to you. If you feel the
shipping is to much then please call or email use and we will credit you
for any excessive cost for shipping. We want you to be
happy. Please keep in mind that sometimes we will under
estimate shipping and we might have to charge you additional shipping cost
after your order has been submitted.

There is
FREE shipping if the total value
of your order, less any discount and coupon, is $100 or more, and the
weight of the items regularly shipped via UPS is less than 20
pounds, then the shipping cost for those items will be zero, for UPS
ground only. Except for items that require special shipping and handling
cost by UPS or USPS. These include but not limited to heavy items
like centerboards, and long over sized items, like spinnaker poles and
booms.
